This Sunday, September 11th marks the 15th Anniversary of 9/11. We will gather together as a community for worship and to offer prayers for all who have fallen, who have lost loved ones, and those who have dedicated their lives to saving others, bringing healing and restoration to this nation.
JOIN US IN WORSHIP
There will be two Sunday services offered at 8:00 and 10:30 AM. These are expressed a little differently – see below for a brief description:
SUNDAY 8:00 A.M. – REFLECTIVE SERVICE
Worship is quiet and reflective during this Rite I service with Bible readings, sermon or homily, and Holy Communion. It’s a time for spiritual refreshment and refocus.
SUNDAY 10:30 A.M. – FAMILY EUCHARIST
This mid-morning worship service is celebrated with music and hymns, Bible readings, sermon or homily, and Holy Communion. In addition to the more contemporary Rite II liturgy, the adult and children’s choirs add energy and beauty. Meet a full range of parishioners while finding renewal and strength in your relationship with God. Childcare (ages 0-4) is offered during this time.
Morning services are followed by fellowship time — “coffee hour”. Light refreshments (beverages and snacks) are served; some sit together for an open-minded Sermon discussion, others mingle or watch their children on the playground. Friendly company and conversation is enjoyed by all.
REMINDER: NO SUNDAY SCHOOL on 9/11 – Registration for the 2016-2017 Sunday School Year takes place at a table outside of the church before Family Eucharist at 10:30 AM. For those interested – please arrive early!
ALL ARE WELCOME – HOPE TO SEE YOU SUNDAY!
