READY, SET… GO!! LET’S READ AROUND THE WORLD!!
Starting June 14 through August 9, we’re calling all book lovers to participate in the annual summer reading program sponsored by the St. Thomas Library.
No matter how eclectic your tastes, this year’s READ AROUND THE WORLD theme is sure to stir your imagination and give you a bounty of material from which to choose.
HOW IT WORKS
All you have to do is read any book you want: from the St. Thomas Library, from a public library, borrowed from a friend, or one that you have been waiting all year to read from your bookshelf. E-books, Kindle books, and audio books also count. Too young to read? Just have someone read a book to you!
Once you’re done, write your name and the title of the book on the special “passport” you’ll find at the bulletin board in Cowans Hall each Sunday after services. Let’s count how many passports will be placed on the bulletin board by the end of the summer.
AND THE PRIZES ARE…
On August 9 there will be a drawing for gift certificates, one for an adult and one for a child. Your name will be entered for each book you read. The more you read, the better your chances of winning!
