Parish Life Planners – known simply as “PEP” – are the heartbeat of the community. PEP members serve to create, plan and stage activities to promote fellowship through social interaction.
Many activities are closely tied closely to the church’s liturgical events calendar. PEP also plans activities to create more diversity and support the shared interests of the community.
HOW PEP WORKS
PEP meets with Pastor Salying each year in January to plan a schedule of events and activities throughout the year. This allows PEP members to arrange for their participation and coordinate volunteer support as needed.
The annual pastor’s meeting is followed-up with once-a-month gatherings to strategize and work out the behind the scenes details of everything that comes together to make an occasion special.
MONTHLY MEETINGS
PEP’s monthly meetings take place on the 1st Tuesday of the Month. Our next planning meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 6th at 7:30 PM – Disciples Room (Smith Education Building) – see Directions & Campus Map
