For the last month we have followed a special liturgy for the stewardship of Creation, offered by the bishops of the Episcopal Church, and focussing on a celebration of God’s creation.
Let us close out this Season of Creation by joining birders all around the world for the fall migration peak and count as many birds as we can. This data, when uploaded onto eBird, contributes to data that helps us protect God’s creation. Pastor Salying will register us as a team on the migration website, as St. Thomas Bird Brains. Meet at the Palo Alto Duck Pond, 2775 Embarcadero Rd in the baylands, dress in layers and hat, bring a bag lunch and water. Remember your binoculars! After a couple hours of birding, we will celebrate Eucharist and then eat lunch at the picnic tables.
An RSVP would be helpful, but not required: www.stthomas-svale.contact/
