HELPING DROUGHT & FAMINE-STRICKEN FAMILIES
The proceeds from the handcrafted items for African Team Ministries will make it possible to provide Drip Irrigation Kits for the families in the drought and famine areas to whom we provided emergency food relief. This will enable them to grow food all year round instead of only when it rains. More than 250,000 people died during this recent drought and famine.
ABOUT AFRICAN TEAM MINISTRIES
This organization has been serving the churches in East Africa for more than 20 years. They also resettle displaced people, support orphans, provide AIDS education and prevention, and literacy training.
African Team Ministries is a Christian ministry working as an intermediary between African and American churches. With help from Episcopal, Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, and Anglican denominations, we provide funding for orphan and refugee relief missions and evangelism in East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda).
