LET’S SING WITH THE CHOIR – 10:15 AM
Following chapel, we’ll head over to the church sanctuary at 10:15 am to rehearse the songs we’ll be singing for Advent with the Adult Choir.
SUNDAY SCHOOL – 10:30 am
This week classes will be held in the Heart classroom located in the Smith Educational Building.
Children will also be creating ornaments to decorate the Christmas tree at the annual Greening of the Church celebration held on Sunday, December 19th. They will also be making Creche or nativity scene figures for display during the annual Christmas Eve service.
Children rejoin their families in church sanctuary for communion.
CHILDCARE
Childcare for infants and children up to 4 years old are available during the 10:30 am–mid morning service with Tina in the Nursery, also located in the Smith Educational Building.
BLOCKING REHEARSAL AFTER SERVICE
After morning service, we will hold a quick blocking rehearsal in the church sanctuary for the annual Christmas Pageant so that everyone participating knows their positions.
WREATH MAKING, CHRISTMAS BOUTIQUE & MORE
We will proceed shortly thereafter to Cowans Hall to create Wreaths to take home, shop at the Christmas boutique, and color on the Advent posters…whew!
NEW STUDENTS – FIRST VISIT
Hello Parents and Guardians – if this is your student’s first time with us, please arrive a few minutes early to register your child.
We follow safe church practices, so its important that we know who’s in attendance, have parents(s) or guardian(s) check children in-and-out, and provide us us with any important details including contact info in the event of an emergency. Teachers are happy to help 🙂
Education building doors are locked 10 minutes after church service begins for added security…so give yourself a little extra time this first day. Teachers will be available to offer assistance to parents and children with registration, questions or any special needs – just introduce yourself and they’ll take it from there. Thanks so much and we look forward to meeting you!
