This is a “Youth Only” event featuring the movie Ender’s Game, a 2013 American science fiction action film based on the novel of the same name by Orson Scott Card.
Written and directed by Gavin Hood, the film stars Asa Butterfield as Andrew “Ender” Wiggin, an unusually gifted child who is sent to an advanced military academy in outer space to prepare for a future alien invasion. The supporting cast includes Harrison Ford, Hailee Steinfeld, Viola Davis, Abigail Breslin, and Ben Kingsley.*
WHAT TIME?: Movie night will kick off at 6:00 PM. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Please invite as many friends as you wish!
OTHER DETAILS: The movie will be followed by a discussion with Father Rob to cap off the evening and conclude at 9:00 PM. Parents please arrive for pick-up at that time. This event will be supervised by at least two adults.
