Book of Revelation
Please join us as we dive into one of the most mysterious books of the New Testament – “The Revelation to John”. While the Book presents itself as a work of prophecy, it is more accurate to see it as part of the “apocalyptic” literary genre. This Book is a work of extremes, ranging from soaring heights of hymnody inspired by Hebrew psalms to the gruesome language of plagues, warfare, and bloodshed.
We will be gathering Wednesday mornings in the Fall to explore these intriguing texts and to discuss what to do with it in the greater context of the Scriptures.
