VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS) – 9:30 AM
Vacation Bible School this Sunday starts at 9:30 AM in the Smith Educational Building for children ages 4-12 and will continue until the children come into church for Communion during the 10:30 Worship service. Our theme for today’s lesson is David the Shepherd and David and Goliath. To locate us, please see our Directions and Campus Map.
We’ll be enjoying stories, music, games, arts and crafts, and creating and consuming special snacks. Children should wear comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes so they can play the games easily.
Childcare is available with Tina in the Education Building – Nursery at 10:30 AM for children up to four (4) years of age.
A very big thank you goes to Keri Beckham, Pam Storrer, Beth and Bob Kunz for their help with our first two Vacation Bible School Lessons.
After today, there is one remaining summer VBS class planned for August 14th from 9:30 AM to Noon. Following that last-of-the-season VBS class, we will be holding a parent meeting in the Disciples Room to discuss lesson plans for Sunday, August 21st, 2016.
SUNDAY SCHOOL – 10:30 am
If you cannot make it to VBS, then please join us for Sunday School at 10:30 AM in the Education Building for a continuation of the morning’s activities.
NEW STUDENTS – FIRST VISIT
Hello Parents and Guardians – if this is your student’s first time with us, please show up a few minutes early to register your child.
We follow safe church practices, so its important that we know who’s in attendance, have parents(s) or guardian(s) check children in-and-out, and provide us us with any important details including contact info in the event of an emergency. Teachers are happy to help 🙂
Education building doors are locked 10 minutes after church service begins for added security…so give yourself a little extra time this first day. Thanks so much and we look forward to meeting you!
