MAKE IT A SEASON OF GIVING

In honor of the philanthropy of St. Nicholas, we’ll be taking up a collection of toys and/or cash to share the joys of Christmas with those less fortunate. Donated toys will be given to inner city youth served by Santa Maria Urban Ministry (SMUM) and any monetary donations will be offered in support of SMUM’s work serving low-income families in San Jose.

Special Instructions: please leave toys unwrapped so they can be given to an appropriate recipient. If you’re writing a check for a cash donation, make it out to St. Thomas Episcopal Church with the notation “To SMUM” on the memo line.

Come join us and bring your friends too – for a fun-filled evening with a heart for giving!

We will read these stories as small theater pieces as a way of discovering new depths to the Good News of Jesus as found in John’s Gospel.

Theater, acting out a story, is a profound way of learning, and it is also fun…Come join us!
