Christmas Pageant – Dec. 15th

ADVENT WREATH LIGHTING & CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

This Sunday we will have no Sunday School class as we will be in the Church for Advent Wreath lighting, the Christmas Pageant, and Worship.

All pageant participants will need to be at Church by 10:00 AM to put on costumes in the Education Building. Men’s costumes will be in the Heart classroom and Women’s will be in the Treasure classroom. The Advent Wreath Reader and Lighter will go to the church in costume to light the wreath at 10:30 AM. This week’s wreath lighter and reader are Brighid and Liam Beckham.

READINGS

These are the readings for the Third Sunday in Advent: Psalm 146:4-9, the First Reading is Isaiah 35:1-10, The Second Reading is James 5:7-10 and the Gospel is Matthew 11:2-11.

MEMORY VERSE

Family Worship – Father’s Day, June 19

FAMILY EUCHARIST ON FATHER’S DAY

There is NO Sunday School on June 19th. Families are instead invited to worship together in the church as we celebrate Father’s Day. Please join us for refreshments and fellowship to follow in Cowans Hall!

NURSERY CARE

Nursery care with Tina will be offered at the back of the church for children ages 0 through 4.

READINGS – THE FIFTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST

The readings for this Sunday are: Psalm 22:18-27, 42 and 43, The First Reading is Isaiah 65:1-9 or 1Kings 19:1-4, (5-7),8-15a, The Second Reading is Galatians 3:23-29 and the Gospel is Luke 8:26-39.

FAMILY EUCHARIST ON MOTHER’S DAY

There is NO Sunday School on May 8th. Families are instead invited to worship together in the church as we celebrate Mother’s Day. Refreshments and fellowship to follow in Cowans Hall! Please join us!

Sunday School in the Education Building will resume again on May 15th.

NURSERY CARE

On this Family Eucharist and Mother’s Day Sunday, nursery care for children ages 0 to age 4 will be offered at the back of the church rather than in the Education Building.

READINGS – THE SEVENTH SUNDAY OF EASTER

The readings for this Sunday are: Psalm 97, The First Reading is Acts 16:16-34, The Second Reading is Revelation 22:12-14, 16-17, 20-21 and the Gospel is John 17, 37-39a.

There is NO Sunday School on April 17th, as our teachers are taking a break.

CELEBRATE FAMILY WORSHIP

Families are instead invited to worship together in the sanctuary as we celebrate Family Eucharist/Communion. Refreshments and fellowship to follow in Cowans Hall! Please join us!

Sunday School will resume again on April 24th.

NURSERY CARE

Nursery Care is offered for children ages 0 to age 4 in the Education Building from 10:30 am through end of mid-morning worship service.

Family Eucharist – Jan. 10th

FAMILY EUCHARIST

There are Sundays when we celebrate Family Eucharist, choosing to gather together as a full faith community to worship in the sanctuary. On those days, Sunday School is not in session; nursery care will continue to be offered.

This Sunday, the first Sunday after Epiphany – January 10th – we will gather together for Family Eucharist in the sanctuary, so no Sunday School classes will take place. Please come and join us!

NO SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School will not meet this Sunday. Check the Parish Calendar for the monthly Sunday School schedule.
