St. Petersburg Men’s Ensemble Performs @ St. Thomas – Friday, April 12th @ 7pm

Join us for an enchanting evening of music and come away mesmerized by the St. Petersburg Men’s Ensemble under the direction of Kirill Sokolov. Hailing all the way from Russia, the ensemble is returning for one night only to perform sacred music, classics, national and modern compositions in Russian and more. The Errant Carrots – A Lil’ Concert Music after Service – August 19th

A SPECIAL TREAT

The Errant Carrots will present a short concert after church service on Sunday, August 19th at 11:30AM. Come hear us!

AN INTRODUCTION TO THE GROUP

We’re the Errant Carrots: Amy Snell, Karen Mackey, Abby O’Connell. We share a love of harmonies, and enjoy performing songs that showcase our tight three-part female vocal sound.

Our repertoire ranges from Doo Wop to Pop and from Spirituals to Swing. You can find us performing at local open mics as well as music festivals and private events, including this year’s Palo Alto Festival of the Arts on Sunday, August 26th (more details at www.mlaproductions.com/PaloAlto/arts-Palo Alto).

So grab a coffee, some donuts and come join us on the back patio for some fun!

ERRANT CARROTS TRIO

The trio known as The Errant Carrots, comprised of Abby O’Connell, Amy Smith and Karen Mackey, will lead us in some old chestnuts such as “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” and “This Train is Bound for Glory“.

So grab your coffee and donut (and ice cream!) and come join us on the back patio for some fun!

May Daze Dance – Saturday, May 20th

Please join us for an evening of fun – we’re throwing a May Daze Dance Party – Saturday, May 20th @ 7:00 pm in Cowans Hall

DANCE PARTY

The dance party is a church family event and both young and old are included. We have been collecting an extensive playlist of music that supports popular dance styles from the 1940’s to the current era – with traditional ballroom, swing, Latin, calypso, rock ‘n roll, hip-hop, line dances and others…make a request from the list or go with the flow…

Save the date and bring one! Whether you are ready to put one foot in front of the other or have two left feet, there is something for everybody to enjoy! Those who wish to just want to enjoy the music and hang out are most welcome.

SNACKS & DRINKS

In addition to the dancing, Parish Event Planners a.k.a. PEP will provide snacks, coffee, tea, punch and sangria. Please bring some party foods or your favorite beverage to share with others.
