Sunday School – Nov. 26th

SUNDAY SCHOOL – 10:30 am

This week classes will be held in the Heart classroom located in the Smith Educational Building.

This Sunday Students will work on Creating Ornaments for the Christmas tree to be placed in the Narthex on December 17th following the Christmas at our annual Greening of the Church.

CHILDCARE

Childcare for infants and children up to 4 years old are available during the 10:30 am–mid morning service with Tina in the Nursery, also located in the Smith Educational Building.

NEW STUDENTS – FIRST VISIT

Hello Parents and Guardians – if this is your student’s first time with us, please arrive a few minutes early to register your child.

We follow safe church practices, so its important that we know who’s in attendance, have parents(s) or guardian(s) check children in-and-out, and provide us us with any important details including contact info in the event of an emergency. Teachers are happy to help 🙂

Education building doors are locked 10 minutes after church service begins for added security…so give yourself a little extra time this first day. Teachers will be available to offer assistance to parents and children with registration, questions or any special needs – just introduce yourself and they’ll take it from there. Thanks so much and we look forward to meeting you!

READINGS – THE LAST SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST: CHRIST THE KING

This Sunday’s readings are: Psalm 19, The First Reading is Ezekiel 34:11-16, 20-24, The Second Reading is Ephesians 1:15-23 and the Gospel is Matthew 25:31-46.

DEC 2ND: St. Nicholas Feast with visit by St. Nick @ 5:30 pm – tickets on sale now – $6, see Pat after service.
DEC 3RD: Annual Holiday Boutique – for sweets, treats, good eats and more – check it out during coffee hour following each of the morning services.
DEC 17TH: Greening of the Church – gather after service for soup & fellowship followed by preparing the sanctuary with festive greenery.

Sunday School – Feb. 19th

SUNDAY SCHOOL – 10:30 am

Sunday School is held in the Smith Education Building at 10:30 am. This week classes will be held in the Heart Classroom for our younger students with Keri and the Older students will meet in the Treasure Classroom with Pam. They will be there to offer parents and children alike assistance.

This Sunday’s readings are: Psalm 119:33-40, The First Reading is Leviticus 19:1-2, 9-18, The Second Reading is 1 Corinthians 3:10-11, 16-23 and the Gospel is Matthew 5:38-48.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Sunday, February 26th: We will be celebrating the Lunar New Year. Children are invited to participate in a “Lunar New Year Presentation” during mid morning (10:30 AM) worship service. Anyone interested in participating, please let one of your teachers – Keri or Pam know.

There will be a pancake breakfast following the mid morning worship service. The children can also help with serving up yummy pancakes in Cowans Hall.

Sunday School – July 10th

Sunday School is in session today. Class will be in the Education Building starting at 10:30 AM on the Lesson of the Good Samaritan and will be taught by Pam.

Nursery Care for children ages 0 to age 4 is also available in the Education Building Nursery with Tina.

READINGS – EIGHTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST

Today’s readings are: Psalm 25:1-9 or 82, The First Reading is Deuteronomy 30:9-14 or Amos 7:7-17, the Second Reading is Colossians 1:15-28 and the Gospel is Luke 10:25-37.

MEMORY VERSE FOR THE WEEK

The Memory verse is from this week’s Gospel reading: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind.”

Sunday School – June 5th

Sunday School for children and youth is in session and we’re always happy to welcome new students! If this is your child’s first day joining in, parents please arrive a few minutes early to register your new student.

Just speak with one of the teachers, Kristen or Pam – they are available to assist you.

Registration can be done in any of the designated classrooms located in the Education Building. Classes will be held this week as follows: Children ages 4 – 7 will gather in the Heart Classroom and those ages 8 – 12 will meet in the Treasure Classroom – and remember to bring your Bibles!

Nursery Care is also offered for children ages 0 to age 4 in the Education Building.

The readings for the Third Sunday after Pentecost: Psalm 30 or 146, The First Reading is 1 Kings 17:17-24 or 1Kings 17: 8-16(17-24), The Second Reading is Galatians 1:11-24 and the Gospel is Luke 7:11-17.

Sunday School for children and youth is in full session and we’re always happy to welcome new students! If this is your child’s first day joining in, parents please arrive a few minutes early to register your new student.

Classes on May 1st will be held in the Education Building in the Heart Classroom with Bora Ju (ages 4 – 7) and the Treasure Classroom with Pam Storrer (ages 8 – 12). The lesson will reflect the Gospel for the Day (please refer to the Readings described below).

Nursery Care is also offered for children ages 0 to age 4 in the Education Building.

READINGS – THE SIXTH SUNDAY OF EASTER

This week’s scripture readings include Psalm 67, Acts 16:9-15 (first reading), Revelation 21:10, 22-22.5 (second reading) and John 14:23-29 or John 5:1-9 as the Gospel.

MEMORY VERSE

From Psalm 67 — “Our God has blessed the earth with a wonderful harvest! Pray for his Blessings to continue and for everyone on earth to worship God.”
