We cordially invite you to join us for “Mass on the Grass” followed by the annual Parish Picnic in celebration of the completion of our program year!

TIME & PLACE

There is only one worship this day as we gather together for “Mass on the Grass” at 9:30 am across the street from Saint Thomas in Washington Park’s lawn area.

Please bring a blanket or lawn chairs for added comfort. A limited number of chairs from the church will also be available.

Following the service, we will gather together in the designated picnic area where we will have some reserved tables, enjoying some chit-chat, snacks and beverages as we fire up the barbecue and finish setting up. We’ll ring the bell signaling when lunch is ready!

If you are new to Saint Thomas, we welcome you to come out and join us! For directions, see Directions & Campus Map.

WHAT’S ON THE MENU

We will be ready with beef hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. Being mindful of some dietary restrictions, we will also offer salmon, turkey, and veggie burgers as an alternative. Condiments and drinks will be also be included.

BRING A DISH TO SHARE

There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex at the back of the sanctuary. Place a check in the box corresponding with a requested food options: coffee, doughnuts, snacks, appetizers, salads, side dishes, and desserts. It’s so much more interesting when we share!
