Saint Nicholas & Santa Lucia Feast – Saturday, Dec. 7th @ 5:30 PM

The St. Nicholas and Ste. Lucia Feast will be held in Cowans Hall on Saturday, December 7, starting at 5:30 pm.

St. Lucy will join St. Nicholas as co-patron saints of the feast to herald the coming of yuletide.

In keeping with traditions, the feast will feature good company, a scrumptious holiday meal and wonderful entertainment. Enjoy drinks, appetizers, and socializing.

This year’s St. Nicholas and Santa Lucia Feast calls for our sharing. Parish Event Planners “PEP” will prepare the entrée dishes for the holiday meal while the Vestry and Choir will share side dishes and desserts. Guests in turn are encouraged to bring an appetizer dish for starters.

Tickets for the feast are now available for $5 per person and free for anyone 8 years of age and under.

Ticket purchases can be made directly through the parish office during the week – Monday to Friday (10:00 am – 3:00 PM) and also during coffee hour in Cowans Hall following morning church services.

We suggest that you purchase your tickets early so we will have a head count to help us in preparing for the feast.

We make it our mission each year to give back to the community. We invite your participation in making a cash or check donation to Santa Maria Urban Ministry to further its work in serving those in need in San Jose.

St. Nicholas Feast – Dec 5th

We’re hailing in the Christmas Season with the 21st annual St. Nicholas Feast celebration!

Saturday, December 5th – starting at 5:30 PM

Cowans Hall, see Directions and Campus Map
Saint Thomas Episcopal Church
231 Sunset Avenue
Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Tickets for the event are $5 per person and free for children ages 8 years and under.

Please purchase tickets in advance of the event to assist us with event planning and preparations.

Look for ticket sellers after each of the Sunday services or obtain them from the office.

We’ll be preparing a holiday style dinner with all the trimmings and have a simple request that all who are able bring something special to share – either an appetizer or dessert to accompany the main holiday meal.

Entertainment for the evening will include singing with Abby’s ukulele trio and jazz improvisations by Krassen on piano. We invite all to sing along with some traditional favorites.

In honor of St. Nicholas, we will be taking up a collection of cash and unwrapped toys to share the joy of Christmas with those in need.

The focus of the donations will be for the inner city residents served by Santa Maria Urban Ministry (SMUM) in Santa Clara County.

Leaving toy donations unwrapped will enable SMUM to determine for whom the toy is most appropriate.
