SUNDAY SCHOOL – 10:30 AM
ALL Classes will meet in the Heart Classroom in the Smith Education Building. Everyone will be exercising their creativity making items to donate to the annual Christmas Boutique scheduled for the 4th of December.
We will also be crafting ornaments for the “Greening of the Church” to be held following the Christmas Pageant on December 18th.
Reminder: Drawings for the Christmas Pageant covers are due this Sunday. They must be 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 in Black and White. The title of the pageant this year is O Holy Night.
Childcare for infants and children up to 4 years of age is available with Tina in the Nursery, also located in the Smith Educational Building.
For campus locations, please see Directions and Campus Map.
NEW STUDENTS – FIRST VISIT
Hello Parents and Guardians – if this is your student’s first time with us, please arrive a few minutes early to register your child.
We follow safe church practices, so its important that we know who’s in attendance, have parent(s) or guardian(s) check children in-and-out, and provide us us with any important details including contact info in the event of an emergency. Teachers are happy to help 🙂
Education building doors are locked 10 minutes after church service begins for added security…so give yourself a little extra time this first day. Thanks so much and we look forward to meeting you!
READINGS – THE LAST SUNDAY AFTER or CHRIST THE KING SUNDAY
This Sunday’s readings are: Psalm 46, The First Reading is Jeremiah 23:1-6, The Second Reading is Colossians 1:33-43 and the Gospel is Luke 23:33-43.
MEMORY VERSE FOR THE WEEK
”Jesus said, ‘Father forgive these people! They don’t know what they are doing.’ And they cast lots to divide his garments.” – Luke 23:34 (from the Gospels)
Thank you to all who donated food last week for the Sunday School Thanksgiving Food Ingathering. Carl and I drove our donations to Second Harvest Food Bank on Tuesday this last week. They were pleased to receive our gifts. Thanks Again.
