Sunday School – May 28th

SUNDAY SCHOOL – 10:30 am

Sunday School is held in the Smith Education Building at 10:30 am which is located behind the church.

This week classes will be held in the Heart Classroom for younger students (ages 4 to 7) and for older students (ages 8 to 12) in the Treasure Classroom.

Sunday’s Lesson will be on The Ascension of Jesus. We will also rehearse the Music and the Readings for the Celebration of Pentecost to be presented next Sunday June 4, 2017.

CHILDCARE

Childcare for infants and children up to 4 years old are available during mid morning service with Tina in the Nursery, also located in the Smith Educational Building.

For campus locations, please see Directions and Campus Map.

NEW STUDENTS – FIRST VISIT

Hello Parents and Guardians – if this is your student’s first time with us, please arrive a few minutes early to register your child.

We follow safe church practices, so its important that we know who’s in attendance, have parents(s) or guardian(s) check children in-and-out, and provide us us with any important details including contact info in the event of an emergency. Teachers are happy to help 🙂

Education building doors are locked 10 minutes after church service begins for added security…so give yourself a little extra time this first day. Teachers will be available to offer assistance to parents and children with registration, questions or any special needs – just introduce yourself and they’ll take it from there. Thanks so much and we look forward to meeting you!

READINGS – THE SEVENTH SUNDAY OF EASTER

This Sunday’s readings are: Psalm 68:1-10, The First Reading Acts 1:6-14, the Second Reading 1 Peter 4:12-14, 5:6-11 and the Gospel John 17:1-11.

MEMORY VERSE FOR THE WEEK

“When your land was thirsty you sent showers to refresh it.” – Psalm 68:9 (CEV – Contemporary English Version)
