SUNDAY SCHOOL – 10:30 am
Sunday School is held in the Smith Education Building at 10:30 am.
This week classes will be held in the Heart classroom for our younger students (ages 4 to 7) with Keri and for older students (ages 8 to 12) will meet in the Treasure classroom with Pam. We will be studying John 9:1-41 – the story of how Jesus heals a man who had been born blind.
We will also vote for the charity to receive the money collected in our “Mite Boxes” this Easter.
REMINDER: Spend time with your family in prayer during this season of Lent by using the prayer sticks offered. If you were not here when they were handed out, alert one of the teachers on hand to see if there are some available,. If not, take some Popsicle sticks and color them using the scheme listed below.
The following is the Prayer Stick Code: Red is for Adoration of the Lord ( praising God), Blue is for Petition (asking god for our own needs), Green is for Intercession (asking God for the needs of others) and Purple is for Thanksgiving (thanking God for our Blessings).
A family could choose to use two or three sticks each evening when gathered together. As each family has its own dynamic so there are many ways to use these sticks to create intentional time for prayer.
CHILDCARE
Childcare for infants and children up to 4 years old are available during mid morning service with Tina in the Nursery, also located in the Smith Educational Building.
For campus locations, please see Directions and Campus Map.
NEW STUDENTS – FIRST VISIT
Hello Parents and Guardians – if this is your student’s first time with us, please arrive a few minutes early to register your child.
We follow safe church practices, so its important that we know who’s in attendance, have parents(s) or guardian(s) check children in-and-out, and provide us us with any important details including contact info in the event of an emergency. Teachers are happy to help 🙂
Education building doors are locked 10 minutes after church service begins for added security…so give yourself a little extra time this first day. Teachers will be available to offer assistance to parents and children with registration, questions or any special needs – just introduce yourself and they’ll take it from there. Thanks so much and we look forward to meeting you!
