Sunday School – April 24th

Sunday School for children and youth is in full session and we’re always happy to welcome new students! If this is your child’s first day joining in, parents please arrive a few minutes early to register your new student.

Just speak with one of the teachers – they are available to assist you.

This Sunday, all students will meet in the Heart Classroom.

Nursery Care is also offered for children ages 0 to age 4 in the Education Building.

Need a little help finding us? See Directions and Campus Map.

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING?

Sue will be teaching the children about Saint George, the Patron Saint of England and also of the Boy Scouts. After class, students will move to Cowans Hall to complete a gift for the congregation which will be served at Coffee Hour.

READINGS – THE FIFTH SUNDAY OF EASTER

This Sunday’s readings include Psalm 148, the First Reading from Acts 11:1-18, the Second Reading from Revelation 21:1-6 and The Gospel is John 13:31-35. Family Ministry offers the following Memory Verse for anyone who would like to have one: “You cannot go where I am going. But I am giving you a new Command. You must love each other, just as I have loved you. If you love each other, everyone will know that you are my disciples.”

VOLUNTEER TO TEACH

If you would like to teach during the regular school year or help out in the classrooms, please contact Sue Beckham (see below).
