GATHERING OF JUSTICE & PEACE — PEOPLE ACTING IN COMMUNITY TOGETHER
Please join with community organizing group PACT (People Acting in Community Together) San Jose and members of the St. Thomas Peace & Justice committee as we hold our 3rd gathering with local community members. It’s just the beginning and we are growing community of people looking to help solve issues facing our friends and neighbors in the heart of Silicon Valley.

This meeting will be hosted by Church of the Resurrection at 725 Cascade Drive, Sunnyvale, CA 94087 on Wednesday, August 22 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM
PURPOSES
We are striving to:
• Engage community members in organizing for economic and social justice
• Prepare participants to begin organizing through sharing and listening to stories about struggles in our community
• Prepare people to move into action, e.g. voter engagement work Aug-Nov, engaging across several congregations more broadly
This event is open to all, so please consider inviting interested friends and neighbors too. If you’ve missed an earlier gathering, we can help get you up to speed plus review information is available in the July/August for the first gathering and the second in upcoming August/September editions of Beyond A Doubt, the newsletter of St. Thomas.
