Peace and Justice Committee Report
- Local Fair Redistricting: Cal Cornwell will post an update when the city of Sunnyvale has begun the process of redistricting after the city integrates the 2020 Census data.
- PACT (People Acting in Community Together): We are still looking at how we can support the AAPI community.
- Cycling Advocacy for Safe Bike Lanes: Cycling is a justice issue because it allows people to get to work or other traveling inexpensively and without polluting the environment. The Sunnyvale city staff brought before the city council recommendations for two additions of cycling lanes in September. Cal Cornwell advocated at city council meetings in favor of these cycling lanes. The council did approve them.
