GATHERING OF JUSTICE & PEACE — PEOPLE ACTING IN COMMUNITY TOGETHER
Please join with community organizing group PACT (People Acting in Community Together) San Jose and members of the St. Thomas Peace & Justice committee as we hold our 3rd gathering with local community members. It’s just the beginning and we are growing community of people looking to help solve issues facing our friends and neighbors in the heart of Silicon Valley.

This meeting will be hosted by Congregational Church of Sunnyvale and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Sunnyvale at 1112 South Bernardo Ave., Sunnyvale, CA 94087 on Wednesday, September 26th from 6:30 – 8:00 PM

- Prepare people to move into action, e.g. voter engagement work Aug-Nov, engaging across several congregations more broadly

UPCOMING VOTER ENGAGEMENT EVENTS
Join us as we take to the streets, work the phones and empower our community through voter engagement! Listen to neighbors as they share their concerns: educate community members about propositions that will address some of our regions’s biggest issues; and help register new voters often under-represented in our elections.
Each of the events will include training on how to engage the voters, food and an opportunity to knock on voters doors or call them by phone. It is very important and interesting work. We hope some of the voters we engage will join us in this in the future.
