No Sunday School – June 28 & July 5

NO SUNDAY SCHOOL

There are NO SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES on Sunday June 28th or July 5th due to the Independence Day Holiday.

Nursery Care is available for children ages 0 to age 4 in the Education Building.

Children (ages 5 and up) will worship in the Sanctuary with their families.

READINGS – FIRST SUNDAY OF JULY

The readings for the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost: Psalm 48 or 123, the First reading is 2 Samuel 5:1-5,9-10 or Ezekiel 2:1-5, The Second Reading is 2 Corinthians 12: 2-10 and The Gospel is Mark 6:1-13.

COMING SOON

Get ready for The Summer Program beginning the following Sunday, July 12th – classes will be held in the Heart Classroom.

Remember to check the website calendar for upcoming events and class information. Don’t forget to check the weekly slider update the day before!

ACOLYTE TRAINING

During the summer, we will begin training new acolytes for service in the fall. If your child is eight (8) years old or will be by the end of the summer, he/she are eligible to serve as an Acolyte. Those who participate make a commitment to serve once a month at the altar.

VOLUNTEER TO TEACH

If you would like to teach a Summer Sunday, please contact Sue Beckham (see below). You are welcome to share your ideas.
