Calling all soup lovers, decorators, and carolers!
Join us on Sunday, December 17th following the annual Christmas pageant for a community soup and salad potluck in Cowans Hall. For guidance, see Directions & Campus Map.
CALLING ALL CREATIVE COOKS!
Would you like to share a crockpot/slow cooker full of your favorite HOT soup (that serves eight people if possible)? Be it chicken noodle, vegan butternut squash or zesty Italian meatball, bring something tasty to share!
If salad’s more your thing, consider bringing a bowl of your latest leafy creations or even salad toppings, such as shredded carrots, corn, cherry tomatoes, chopped peppers, garbanzo beans, croutons, etc. to add variety to our buffet.
We will keep everyone’s crockpots and slow cookers plugged in during the service to keep the soups warm.
SIGN-UPS IN THE CHURCH
For those planning to share their culinary talents, please add your soup or salad contribution to the list at the back of church.
GREENING OF THE CHURCH
Following our meal, we’ll regroup at the church to participate in the third-annual community “greening,” of the church – hanging wreaths and decorating the tree.
The choir will lead a carol sing-along. This group experience following our Christmas pageant is sure to start the holiday week in a spirited way.
