Calling all soup lovers, decorators, and carolers! Join us on Sunday, December 18th following the annual Christmas pageant for a community soup and salad potluck in Cowans Hall.
Calling all creative cooks: would you like to share a crockpot/slow cooker full of your favorite HOT soup (that serves 8 if possible)? Be it chicken noodle, vegan butternut squash or zesty Italian meatball – your good eats are greatly appreciated!
We will keep everyone’s crockpots and slow cookers plugged in during the service to keep the soups warm.
TO SHARE
Please add your soup to the list in the back of church. PEP (Parish Event Planners) is providing salad and dressing.
Not a soup chef? Then please bring a topping for the salad (i.g. shredded carrots, corn, cherry tomatoes, chopped peppers, garbanzo beans, croutons, etc.).
AFTER THE MEAL
Following our meal, we’ll go into church and participate in our first-ever community “greening,” hanging wreaths and decorating the tree.
The choir will lead a carol sing-along. This group experience following our Christmas pageant is sure to start the holiday week in a spirited way.
