Goodwill Donation Day – Saturday, Aug 5th

NOTE: GOODWILL DRIVE TO FOLLOW RUMMAGE SALE
The Goodwill drive will take place on Saturday, August 4, from 9 am – 2 pm.

Goodwill will be taking almost everything left over from the rummage sale in addition to e-waste (old electronics, TVs, etc.).

LET’S PUT THE FUN BACK IN FUNDRAISING!

This coming Saturday, St. Thomas is partnering with Goodwill for our second annual donation drive. Just bring your gently used items to the church parking lot and Goodwill will take them all away, issue you a tax receipt AND make a donation to St. Thomas based on the total weight of the collected goods. If you didn’t have a chance to clear out your clutter at last week’s rummage sale, take advantage of this extra opportunity to donate your unwanted items in support of St. Thomas’ ongoing mission and programs!

EVENT DATE, TIMES & LOCATION

August 5th, 2017 — Goodwill Collection 9am-1pm, plus bake sale and bounce house for the kids, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 231 Sunset Avenue, Sunnyvale.

GOODWILL HAPPILY COLLECTS:
• clothing, shoes & other accessories
• books
• small household items (ex: dishes, small appliances, pots & pans)
• electronics
• and best of all … E-waste!*

*Goodwill uses the largest E-waste recycler in the US, which exceeds environmental standards and does not process items overseas. E-waste includes items like monitors, hard drives, audio equipment, VCRs & DVD players, cameras, phones, and printers.

EXCLUDED ITEMS

*Goodwill will NOT accept furniture, mattresses, exercise equipment, large appliances, car parts, food, carpet, construction debris, liquids of any kind, baby strollers or car seats, pet-related items, or items over 50 lbs.

REFRESHMENTS

We’ll be offering refreshments and yummy baked goods for sale.
