Children’s Chapel @ 9:30 AM & Crafts Project @ 10:30 AM – July 2nd

It’s summertime and this Sunday we have some wonderful activities planned for children ages 4 – 12 as we take a little detour from our traditional Sunday School schedule.

PARTICIPATE IN CHILDREN’S CHAPEL @ 9:30 AM – COWANS HALL

It’s a perfect time for Chapel…and to get the kids engaged and moving, we’re offering a Godly Play Lesson on the Books of the Bible in Cowans Hall. It’s a fun and educational time all in one!

GET CREATIVE WITH A CRAFT PROJECT IN SUNDAY SCHOOL @ 10:30 AM – SMITH EDUCATIONAL BUILDING

Following Chapel, don’t miss out on the creative Craft Project planned by teachers Bora, Pam and Kristen as the kids move on over to the Education Building. The Nursery will be open with Tina.

CHILDCARE

Childcare for infants and children up to 4 years old is available during mid morning service with Tina in the Nursery, also located in the Smith Educational Building.

For campus locations, please see Directions and Campus Map.

NEW STUDENTS – FIRST VISIT

Hello Parents and Guardians – if this is your student’s first time with us, please arrive a few minutes early to register your child.

We follow safe church practices, so it’s important that we know who’s in attendance, have parents(s) or guardian(s) check children in-and-out, and provide us us with any important details including contact info in the event of an emergency. Teachers are happy to help 🙂

Education building doors are locked 10 minutes after church service begins for added security…so give yourself a little extra time this first day. Teachers will be available to offer assistance to parents and children with registration, questions or any special needs – just introduce yourself and they’ll take it from there. Thanks so much and we look forward to meeting you!

READINGS – THE FOURTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST

This Sunday’s readings are: Psalm 13, the First reading is Genesis 22:1-14, the second reading is Romans 6:12-23 and the Gospel is Matthew 10:40-42.

MEMORY VERSE FOR THE WEEK

“Anyone who welcomes you, welcomes me.” – Matthew 10:40 (NIV – New International Version)

UPCOMING EVENTS

Next Sunday – July 9th, get ready for the 2nd Session of Vacation Bible School beginning at 9:30 AM in the Education Building.

REMINDER – BE PREPARED: to (1) wear clothes that can get wet and (2) shoes to run in as we learn about Jesus Calming the Storm.
