Vacation Bible School Camp – July 23rd @ 9:30 AM

It’s summertime and this Sunday we have some wonderful activities planned for children ages 4 – 12 as we take another detour from our traditional Sunday School schedule.

PARTICIPATE IN VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS) CAMP @ 9:30 AM – SMITH EDUCATION BUILDING

Get ready for the next session of Vacation Bible School Camp…we’ll be getting the kids engaged and moving, learning with fun and creativity thrown into the mix!

We will gather at 9:30 in The Education Building to participate in in Games, Stories, Arts and Crafts, Science, Music, Snack Preparation and Consumption. Sunday School will be a continuation of VBS activities. Children will enter church in time for communion.

REMINDER – BE PREPARED: Please plan to wear clothing that can get wet and shoes you can run in as we learn about Jesus Calming the Storm. Join us for all the fun and festivities.

CHILDCARE

Childcare for infants and children up to 4 years old is also available in the Education Building during the 9:30 am VBS Camp through the end of mid-morning service with Tina in the Nursery.

For campus locations, please see Directions and Campus Map.

NEW STUDENTS – FIRST VISIT

Hello Parents and Guardians – if this is your student’s first time with us, please arrive a few minutes early to register your child.

We follow safe church practices, so it’s important that we know who’s in attendance, have parents(s) or guardian(s) check children in-and-out, and provide us us with any important details including contact info in the event of an emergency. Teachers are happy to help 🙂

Education building doors are locked 10 minutes after church service begins for added security…so give yourself a little extra time this first day. Teachers will be available to offer assistance to parents and children with registration, questions or any special needs – just introduce yourself and they’ll take it from there. Thanks so much and we look forward to meeting you!

READINGS – THE SEVENTH SUNDAY AFTER PENTECOST

This Sunday’s readings are: Psalm 139:1-11,22-23, The First Reading is Genesis 28:10-19a, the Second Reading is Romans 8:12-25, and the Gospel Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43.

MEMORY VERSE FOR THE WEEK

“You have looked into my heart Lord, and you know all about me.” – Psalm 139:1 (CEV – Contemporary English Version).

REMINDERS

Next Sunday – July 29th: There will be NO SUNDAY SCHOOL. Teachers will be taking some time off on vacation. Children will rejoin families at 10:30 am for morning worship.
